Each year the Medford-Vincentown Rotary Club and the Medford Boy Scouts plant trees at various locations around the Township to celebrate Earth Day. The object is to provide community awareness and give back to the Earth. Earth Day started in 1970 and is active in 190 countries with the goal of planting 7.8 billion trees by 2020 (50th Anniversary)
